Vintage Kantha Quilt
"Blue/White" 52 x 72" The basics--fields of blue and white with charming embroidered border.
Kantha quilts are from Eastern India, made from layers of cotton pieced & stitched together to create a quilt. Some have more layers than others resulting in a weighty quilt that can be used as you please. I like to use them on my bed for extra warmth or for cover when watching a movie. You choose how you want to use. Each piece is completely unique, chosen carefully by me as a great example of craft and design.
I will ship vis UPS for a flat rate of $12.
For local pickup in the Kansas City area, I will arrange a time and place with the customer via email.
Different options for care. Hang outside in the sun to refresh. I love doing this with the textiles and fabrics I use around my home. Occasional wash and dry with cool water and dryer. Also, just toss in a warm dryer to refresh.
